The design engineering of this watch showcases a lot of the things that make this brand special, all in one 40mm case. The strong angular silhouette of the case with very clean lines and mix of mirror and brushed polishing is the sort of case you can wear everyday and not get bored with. The same goes for the bracelet which is both comfortable and of high quality.

The dial is the best component of this watch. At first it looks like a typical black dial with applied silver details and red GMT hand but then you look closer and the quality becomes apparent. The texture is a subtle grained lacquer finish which is simply amazing, and dances in the direct sunlight. Combine all of this with GS's patent sword hands, stellar sapphire caseback, and 55 hr power reserve and you have an exceptional timepiece adding much more value than the price tag suggests.
